| Gardaland present a great new attraction: Raptor, a roller coaster for new season 2011 |
Gardaland present a great new attraction: Raptor, a roller coaster. The new roller coaster that Gardaland opens for season 2011 develops through a path of 770 meters, from the departure underground, through forests and devastated lands with passages extremely close to scenic obstacles, 90 ° curves at high speed, a low altitudine flying over a lake surface with water effects and three spins zero gravity. The new roller coaster at Gardaland reaches the maximum height of 30 meters and the real innovation is represented by trains having seats hanging in the air and placed sideways to the rails (see figure). The novelty of Gardaland 2011 covers an area of 16,000 square meters (Blue Tornado occupies 10,000 square meters) previously occupied by the canoes route Tunga and the Ice Palace, now renamed PalaRaptor. Raptor was inaugurated on April 1, 2011, the first day of opening of Gardaland for the new season 2011.

| Mille Miglia in Brescia from 11th to 15th May 2011 |
The Mille Miglia is about to begin its world tour and has chosen the Principality of Monaco to launch its International Road Shows. "Monte Carlo is an essential destination for us", declared Alessandro Casali, President of the Mille Miglia Organizing Committee. "It is the capital of luxury automobiles and the home of classic car collectors." For this reason, Monte Carlo will be the site of the first auction of the Mille Miglia race that will begin on May 11 in Brescia. Extraordinary classic cars, with a value ranging between 120,000 and 3 million euros, will be up for auction. The Mille Miglia 2011 edition will be presented in the Belle Époque Hall of Hotel Hermitage, where Carlo Morabito, Italian Ambassador to the Principality of Monaco, and Paolo Rubini, General Manager of ENIT, will be the hosts. The Brescia - Rome round-trip itinerary will travel clockwise along the classic roads of the Mille Miglia route and will pass through seven regions: Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Marche, Umbria and Lazio on the outward journey, with Tuscany added on the return trip. The 2011 itinerary of the Mille Miglia will cross some of Italy most beautiful cities. Besides Brescia and Rome, the cities of Desenzano del Garda, Verona, Cento, Gambettola, Sansepolcro, Spoleto, and Rieti will welcome the Mille Miglia on the outward trip while Viterbo, Siena, Florence, Bologna, Reggio Emilia, Parma and Cremona will be included on the return trip. Each road has its own story, anecdotes, and traditions. In eighty years of life, the scenery along the roads has changed as much as the country has. And yet something has remained unchanged: the passion for Freccia Rossa, the Red Arrow. |

| DOLOMITES THE 15TH STAGE OF THE 94TH GIRO DI ITALIA IS NEAR |
There are only a few days left before 22nd May, when the caravan of the 94th Giro d’Italia arrives in the Val di Fassa on occasion of the 15th stage finish at Gardeccia, which, according to insiders, is the most exciting, demanding and breathtaking stage of the 2011 edition. Cyclists start in Conegliano Veneto for an uphill stage of 230 km, which gradually gets steeper and steeper: Piancavallo (1.290 m), Forcella Cibiana (1.530 m), Passo Giau (2.236 m), Passo Fedaia (2.057 m) and finally Gardeccia (1.948 m), below the Torri del Vajolet in the heart of the Catinaccio, UNESCO World Heritage. The Val di Fassa has been getting ready for the race for days, as the last six kilometres of the course going uphill from Pera (630 m change in altitude) are the most demanding. The road going uphill has gradients of up to 16% and reaches the picturesque little village of Muncion. From here the course (that only authorized vehicles are allowed to access) gets more and more narrow and demanding up to the finish situated nearby Rifugio Gardeccia, in a green hollow. As the course is so demanding, Rcs race organizers and Rai TV decided to place their headquarters at the bottom of the valley, in Pera. RAI will broadcast live television coverage of the last kilometres of the race, with spectacular shooting of the Dolomiti di Fassa from motorbikes and helicopters, thanks to a fibre optic net (connected to the main TV head quarter) which has been lain down on the full length of the course in the past few days. | Fractional ownership demand is gathering pace in Europe |
Properties values in most major markets have witnessed huge percentages wiped off the previous market values and has left many developers holding a bag of heavy bricks, due to the lack of consumer demand and absence of readily available financing. There is an old saying the ‘necessity is the mother of invention', as many believe that the current situation in world markets has driven a demand to discover new alternatives and new models. One such model which has become the new buzz word is fractional ownership, an alternative to traditional ownership, popular for the past 10 years in the USA. Fractional Property Ownership provides a unique investment opportunity for the consumer by offering the purchaser a percentage of ownership in a luxury residence with real equity. There are products on the market today in the UK, France, Greece, Italy and Spain |
